Equipped with 22 audible prompts and LED visual indicators, the Defi 5 guides operators through each step of the resuscitation protocol. The biphasic truncated exponential waveform delivers energy levels of 150J, 150J, and 200J across a wide impedance range (25–175Ω), optimising efficacy across diverse patient populations. With 60 hours of internal memory and ECG signal storage, the device enables comprehensive post-event analysis and data transfer via optional software.
