The entire handpiece is autoclavable at 135°C, enabling rapid sterilisation and turnover between cases. With a torque output of 2.9 Nm and noise level ≤40 dB, the system provides reliable performance in high-volume trauma centres and general orthopaedic theatres. The nickel-metal hydride battery is environment-friendly and offers extended runtime, though it must be removed and stored separately after each procedure to preserve battery longevity.
